Due to a wintry mix expected Saturday afternoon and snow showers expected this afternoon on top of the snow already fallen, the January 31 Sunday morning worship service at Blue Ridge High will be cancelled.
I would encourage you to take time by yourself or with family Sunday morning and have a time of worship where Scripture is read, perhaps a hymn or praise and worship song is played, and a time of prayer.
Please also keep in mind that although the morning worship service has been cancelled, weekly expenses as a church continue. I thank God that the financial giving in January 2010 has been one of our best January's in a couple of years. Thank you for your faithfulness! I also know that some do not make up their giving if they miss a Sunday or if the worship service is cancelled. You can give this Sunday week by giving online (http://www.give.ridgeviewchurch.net/) or mailing in a check to Ridgeview Church, PO Box 1077 Taylors, SC. Or, you can make up your giving next Sunday.
I look forward to seeing you next Sunday, February 7, for our Super Sunday. We will kick off a new message series entitled, "The Road To Financial Freedom." We will have a hot dog meal afterwards catered by Rock's Country Store. Cost is $2 per person and $10 max per family. We will have a flag football game afterwards. Please continue to pray for those you will be inviting and then make the big "ask" this week. We are looking to reach our faith goal of 200 people that Sunday!
Enjoy the snow. Enjoy your Creator!
